How to play Gem Excavator
Fuel and drill level are separate limits. A route rich in gems is only useful if the drill can break the intervening rock and reach another fuel can before the gauge empties. Read those constraints together instead of following the closest gem downward.
Your goal
Collect gems while maintaining fuel and upgrading the drill for harder rock.
Controls
Touch and drag to move and drill. Tap the upgrade button to improve the drill.
Your first round
- Touch and drag to guide the drill into reachable ground.
- Watch the fuel gauge and route toward red fuel cans when needed.
- Open the upgrade control when a rock requires a higher drill-bit level.

Tips for your next attempt
- Check the fuel gauge before moving farther from a visible fuel can.
- Read a rock's required drill level before spending fuel trying to pass it.
Watch out for
- More movement cannot overcome a rock's required drill level.
- A profitable detour can strand the drill without enough fuel to continue.
