How to play Bird Down
Falling is automatic, and the descent becomes faster as the run continues. The useful planning space is beneath the bird: a safe opening now should also leave room to approach the next one.
Your goal
Descend as far as possible without touching an obstacle.
Controls
Slide your finger or move the mouse left and right to steer the bird horizontally.
Your first round
- Begin the run and locate the first gap below the bird.
- Steer sideways into that opening as the bird falls.
- Keep scanning downward and reposition for the following gap.

Tips for your next attempt
- Look below the bird for the next opening before the current obstacle passes.
- Move toward the middle of a gap early, then use small corrections instead of a last-moment sweep.
Watch out for
- Trying to hold the bird at one height will not stop the automatic descent.
